Softball Recap: Roseburg Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Roseburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the South Eugene Axe on Tuesday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 14-2 win back in April.

The team relied heavily on Ciera Singleton, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Masyn Tabor, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI.

Roseburg pushed their record up to 18-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for South Eugene, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.
