Baseball Recap: Eustis Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Eustis and Mount Dora squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Eustis had to settle for second. They fell 6-1 to the Hurricanes. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Panthers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Eustis saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Jackson, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

Eustis has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season. As for Mount Dora, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Eustis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mount Dora, they will square off against Bishop Moore at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
