Basketball Recap: Ashland Takes a Loss

Ashland lost against Northwestern back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Ashland Oredockers were beaten by the Northwestern Tigers 71-19. The Oredockers just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Ashland's loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Northwestern, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ashland will take on Hayward at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northwestern, they will face off against Spooner at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
