A Region IV recap September 24, 2013

Fox Creek scaled the state rankings by moving to 135 from 162 this week, the biggest jump in A Region IV. The Predators were able to move up by besting Augusta Christian 27-20.

Williston-Elko was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in the league. The Blue Devils vanquished North 54-6 earlier in the week.

North's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Darrien Wise has thrown for 362 yards and 4 touchdowns this season, while Marquis Williams has 7 catches for 212 yards.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Williston-Elko takes on Wagener-Salley. Dwayne Garrick's team is in fourth place, while the War Eagles are in first place.

The Blue Devils took down the Eagles 54-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
