Softball Recap: Forest Area Comes Up Short

Forest Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 17-1 to the Inland Lakes Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 14-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Forest Area's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Inland Lakes, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forest Area will square off against Suttons Bay at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Inland Lakes, they will welcome Johannesburg-Lewiston at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
