Adams faced Grosse Pointe South in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Highlanders never let the Blue Devils get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Highlanders, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Adams has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Grosse Pointe South, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-4.

Looking ahead, Adams will take on Detroit Country Day at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Highlanders are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Grosse Pointe South, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against L'Anse Creuse North at 4:30 p.m.
