While St. Petersburg put up some points on Thursday, the same can't be said for Hollins. The St. Petersburg Green Devils breezed past the Hollins Royals to the tune of 29-0. The Green Devils haven't had any issues with the Royals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

St. Petersburg's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ellie Swain, who picked up 87 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 31 yards. Swain also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up two sacks, making three total tackles, and defending two passes. Mar'Quaysha Curry was another key player, rushing for ten yards and one touchdown.

St. Petersburg's record is now 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Petersburg will host Clearwater Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hollins, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Boca Ciega at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hollins is coming into the matchup on an 11-game losing streak dating back to last season.
