Baseball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Sanger Apaches, falling 13-1. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 15, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 5-11-1. As for Sanger, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record this season.

While Edison had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
