Liberty barely beat Seymour the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp  11-3 victory on Thursday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven  runs or more this season.
 Chandler John spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in five consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Ava Heming, who  went 1-for-3 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. Another player making a difference was  Camdyn Ormond, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
The  win made it two in a row for Liberty and  bumps their season record up to 12-4. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4  runs in those games. As for Seymour,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-7-1.
 Coming up, Liberty will be playing in front of their home fans against Barry Western  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Seymour, they will take on Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia in a tournament  on Saturday. The Indians will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least ten  runs  in their last three matches.
