Benton put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Nashville Hornets by a score of 34-24. For the Rangers, this counts as revenge for the 27-10 win the Hornets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Riley Spencer was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 196 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 196 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Benton's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Nashville, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Benton will head out on the road to square off against Frankfort at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Nashville, they have already played their next game, a 55-7 win against Pinckneyville on the 10th.
