Softball Recap: Fort Loramie Redskins vs. Troy Christian Eagles
In what's become a running theme this season, Fort Loramie gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Troy Christian Eagles a 14-0 shutout. The win was a breath of fresh air for Fort Loramie as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Even though they lost, Troy Christian didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and finished the game with nine strikeouts. This was only their 11th loss (out of 13 games) when they post five or more strikeouts.
Fort Loramie's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Troy Christian, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-17.
