Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Biggersville). They were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over the Thrasher Rebels on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Case Hilliard made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

In other batting news, Noah Burnett and Jaden Clifton did most of the damage at the plate: Burnett scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3, while Clifton scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave Burnett a new career-high. Xae Mayes also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Biggersville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .519. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .381 or higher in three consecutive matches.

Biggersville's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-12. As for Thrasher, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Biggersville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Strayhorn on the 29th. As for Thrasher, they have also already played their next game, a 21-0 defeat against Baldwyn on the 1st.
