Baseball Game Preview: Zeeland East Chix vs. Zeeland West Dux

For the second straight game, Zeeland East will face off against Zeeland West. The Chix will head out on the road to take on the Dux at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Zeeland East is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

Zeeland East and Zeeland West faced off in a cross-town battle on Tuesday. The Chix walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Dux. The Chix haven't had any issues with the Dux recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Quincy Thome, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since April 1st. Caden Hunderman was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Zeeland East's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Zeeland West, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
