Softball Recap: Horizon Comes Up Short

Horizon's last matchup with Desert Mountain could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. The Huskies came up short against the Wolves, falling 7-0. The loss continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Wolves: they've now lost five in a row.

Horizon now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Desert Mountain, the victory was the 22nd in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-1-1.

Looking ahead, Horizon will look to defend their home field on Monday against Sunrise Mountain at 5:00 p.m. The Huskies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season. Desert Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
