Baseball Game Preview: Lincoln Park Lions vs. Westmont Sentinels

The Lincoln Park Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Westmont Sentinels at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Lincoln Park and Taft, and Taft kept the tradition alive. The Lions came up short against the Eagles on Friday, falling 12-1.

Westmont never got on the board in their matchup on Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Northtown on Friday. They put the hurt on the Pumas with a sharp 18-3 victory. The Sentinels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Westmont got a massive performance out of Rocco Damato, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Nikolai Baldwin was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Lincoln Park now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Westmont, they now have a winning record of 7-6-1.
