Long County put their dominant defense on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Windsor Forest Knights a 25-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Blue Tide in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won three in a row.

Long County's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Windsor Forest, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Long County will square off against Portal at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 12.6 points per game this season, so the Blue Tide's offense will have their work cut out for them.
