Sanger lost to Redwood back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Apaches walked away with a 3-1 win over the Rangers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Apaches.

Sanger had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-17, 25-17, 25-23.

When it comes to explaining why Redwood lost, don't look at Avery Bratsch. Despite the final result, she had 15 digs and five aces. Bratsch is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Sanger's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Redwood, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Sanger will challenge Lemoore at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Redwood, they will square off against Tulare Western at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
