Volleyball Recap: Harwood Takes Down Rice Memorial in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

Harwood had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Rice Memorial Green Knights with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday. That's more bragging rights for the Highlanders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Harwood won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 25-21.

Aspen Linskey paced Harwood's offense, picking up seven kills. Linskey got some help from Savannah Fulton and her 13 assists. Linskey was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Harwood's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. As for Rice Memorial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-8.
