Baseball Recap: University Christian's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

After flying high against Flagler Palm Coast on Monday, University Christian came back down to earth. University Christian took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop Snyder Cardinals on Tuesday. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Christians were not able to get on the board.

University Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bo Wilson, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

With the loss, University Christian broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-6. As for Bishop Snyder, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5.

University Christian (ranked 95th) will meet Eagle's View (ranked 412th) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (University Christian 3.1, Eagle's View 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Bishop Snyder will face off against Florida Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday up 85 places (35 vs. 120).
