Softball Recap: Ider Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Ider's offense. They came up short against the Plainview Bears on Friday, falling 9-0. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Ider's defeat dropped their record down to 28-10-2. As for Plainview, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 26-6-1.

Plainview wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 18-4 victory against Skyline on the 18th. Hopefully Ider paid attention to the Bears' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Bears at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
