Volleyball Recap: Lansing Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lansing Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Laingsburg Wolfpack. The Pilgrims were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolfpack apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, 18-25, 25-16.

Alyssa Shank paced Lansing Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Shank got some help from Katie Leavitt and her 11 assists. Sophia Nielson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lansing Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Laingsburg, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9-1.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Lansing Christian and St. Patrick will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Laingsburg, they will challenge New Lothrop at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
