Basketball Recap: Heritage Christian Athletics Comes Up Short

Heritage Christian Athletics lost against Fort Worth THESA back in December of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Heritage Christian Athletics Falcons took a blow against the Fort Worth THESA Riders, falling 78-44. The contest marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Jeremiah Krause had a dynamite game for Fort Worth THESA, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 16 boards. Those 26 points gave Krause a new career-high. Another player making a difference was David Friedlein, who posted 11 points and seven assists.

Heritage Christian Athletics' loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6. As for Fort Worth THESA, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.

Heritage Christian Athletics will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Texas Wind at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Fort Worth THESA, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-58 win against Temple Christian on the 26th.
