Baseball Recap: Souderton Triumphs

It's playoff time, and Souderton had no trouble coming through when it counted. They won by a run and slipped past the Boyertown Bears 1-0. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 7-6 win the Bears walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2018.

Souderton's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Charlie Hunsicker, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Souderton now has a winning record of 10-9-1. As for Boyertown, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-11.

As of now, neither Souderton nor the Bears have any future games scheduled.
