Basketball Recap: Homestead Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

Homestead won the last time they faced Arrowhead and things went their way on Saturday too. The Homestead Highlanders rang in the new year with a 72-65 win over the Arrowhead Warhawks. Given the Highlanders' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Warhawks are ranked 153rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Homestead's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. As for Arrowhead, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Homestead will venture away from home to face off against Whitefish Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arrowhead, they are taking a road trip to square off against Waukesha South at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
