Volleyball Recap: Pickerington North Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pickerington North can now relate to. They fell just short of the New Albany Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Jordan Dyer paced Pickerington North's offense, picking up 26 kills. Dyer got some help from Drew Vensko and his 42 assists. Dyer was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Pickerington North's defeat dropped their record down to 22-3. As for New Albany, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Pickerington North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New Albany, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Lincoln on the 24th.
