Baseball Recap: Wildwood Takes a Loss

Wildwood lost against Real Life Christian Academy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats fell 10-5 to the Raptors. The Wildcats' loss continues a trend for the team, making it 11 in a row.

Tyler Martinez was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Aiden Cushing, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Wildwood's record now sits at 1-15. As for Real Life Christian Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-9 record.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Wildwood will challenge Williston at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Real Life Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Bell Creek Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raptors are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
