Apollo lost to Owensboro Catholic on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles fell just short of the Aces by a score of 4-3. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Apollo's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Owensboro Catholic, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-5.

Apollo has already played their next matchup, a 13-1 victory against Logan County on the 24th. As for Owensboro Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 15-5 win against Union County on the 24th.
