Football Recap: Oglethorpe County Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Oglethorpe County had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 37-6 loss at the hands of the Social Circle Redskins. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Remi Farmer looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 62 yards on only five carries, while also throwing for 116 yards on only 11 passes. Those 62 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Looking ahead, Oglethorpe County will face off against East Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Social Circle, they will square off against Warren County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
