Volleyball Recap: Half Moon Bay Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Half Moon Bay and Scotts Valley squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Half Moon Bay had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Falcons. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

Half Moon Bay took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20, 27-25.

Half Moon Bay has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-17 record this season. As for Scotts Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.

Half Moon Bay does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Scotts Valley, they will challenge Harker at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
