Huntsville faced Thompson in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Panthers came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 26-24.

Huntsville can attribute much of their success to Lacey Hollis, who had six digs and two aces. That's the most aces Hollis has posted over her last six matchups.

Huntsville's record is now 26-6. As for Thompson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-7.

Coincidentally, Huntsville and Thompson will both be playing James Clemens the next time they take the court. The Warriors will host the Jets at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
