Volleyball Recap: Maxwell Takes a Loss

Maxwell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Roy/Mosquero Blue/Lady Blue, falling 3-0. If the Bears were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Blue/Lady Blue when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-7.

Maxwell's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Roy/Mosquero, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Maxwell will square off against rival Wagon Mound at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Roy/Mosquero is set to face off against their familiar foe Des Moines at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
