Volleyball Game Preview: Jackson Generals vs. Mourning Sharks

After both having extra time off, the Jackson Generals and the Mourning Sharks will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jackson will be strutting in after a win while Mourning will be coming in after a loss.

Last Thursday, Jackson made easy work of Booker T. Washington and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Jackson took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-13, 25-7.

Meanwhile, Mourning didn't have quite enough to beat Homestead on Saturday and fell 2-1. The Sharks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mourning's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Jackson, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
