Lansing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Basehor-Linwood Bobcats, falling 62-39. One positive for the Lions, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Lansing's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Basehor-Linwood, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Lansing will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Turner at 5:45 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Basehor-Linwood will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Leavenworth on January 3, 2025.
