Preview: Rock Hill Bearcats vs. Nation Ford Falcons
Rock Hill is 10-0 against Nation Ford since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Rock Hill Bearcats will look to defend their home court against the Nation Ford Falcons at 6:30 p.m. Rock Hill is coming into the contest hot, having won their last nine games.
Rock Hill put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 59-27 victory over Denmark-Olar on the road. Rock Hill's win was all the more impressive since Denmark-Olar was averaging only 29.64 points allowed on the season.
Rock Hill's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but De?Ashaj Crawford led the charge by scoring 23 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Crawford hasn't dropped below two steals for 15 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Stevenson, who almost dropped a triple-double on nine points, ten rebounds, and ten assists.
Nation Ford suffered their biggest loss since November 30, 2023 on Saturday. They were beaten by Blythewood 66-32. Nation Ford has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Rock Hill is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Nation Ford, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-7.
Rock Hill beat Nation Ford 59-46 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Will Rock Hill repeat their success, or does Nation Ford have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
