Basketball Game Preview: Fargo South Bruins vs. Richfield Spartans

Having just played yesterday, the Fargo South Bruins will jump right back in to play the Richfield Spartans at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Fargo South is headed into Saturday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They fell 74-63 to Rogers. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Bruins came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 11th in North Dakota, while the Royals are ranked 131st in Minnesota).

Meanwhile, Richfield got the win against Apollo on Friday by a conclusive 91-67. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 20 points or more this season.

Richfield's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Fargo South, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
