Tracy waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with 18 straight wins... but they left with 19. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the West Wolfpack. Considering the Bulldogs have won 17 contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Not much got past Elisa Galli, who gave up just two hits and racked up 13 Ks to keep West off the board. Galli has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Emalee Cargill was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with five stolen bases, two runs, and one double. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emry Couch, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Tracy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 12 hits in three consecutive games.
Tracy's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for West, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-19.
