York added to the longest winning streak in AAAA Region III this week by beating Keenan, 57-12. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Cougars.
Nation Ford and Ridge View played the most contested game in the league this week, with Nation Ford eventually emerging with a 31-28 victory. Dalton Helms threw for 228 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 23 yards in the win.
The leading receiver in the league this season is Anthony Johnson. The South Pointe star has 16 catches for 463 yards.
Two of the top teams in the league will go toe-to-toe this week when Northwestern takes on Lancaster. The Trojans' offense has scored 152 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while the Bruins have allowed only 75 on the year.
