Volleyball Recap: Ada's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Ada had to endure a four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Vanlue Wildcats on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 8th.

Anna Conley paced Ada's offense, picking up six kills. Conley got some help from Jaylin St. Laurent and her nine assists. St. Laurent also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with T?a Griffith, each putting up three.

Ada's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Vanlue, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Ada wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Holgate on the 27th. As for Vanlue, they will face off against Arlington at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
