Softball Recap: Mid-Carolina Takes a Loss

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last six times Mid-Carolina and Ninety Six have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Rebels lost 10-4 to the Wildcats. The defeat continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Mid-Carolina's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Ninety Six, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Mid-Carolina will head out on the road to challenge Fairfield Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ninety Six, they will be playing at home against Dixie at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
