Tri-County RVT hasn't had much luck against Diman RVT recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Cougars will face off against the Bengals at 3:30 p.m. Tri-County RVT is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.
Tri-County RVT came out on top against Southeastern RVT on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Cougars put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 8-1 win.

The team relied heavily on Cam Cummings, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Pat Canavan also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Meanwhile, while Diman RVT put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Blue Hills RVT. The Bengals blew past the Warriors 9-0. The victory continues a trend for the Bengals in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won five in a row.
Owen Dorego was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.
In other batting news, Diman RVT let Carter Perreira and Cam Falcon run wild. Perreira went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple, while Falcon went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Matt Almeida, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Tri-County RVT has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Diman RVT, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Tri-County RVT has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.4 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Diman RVT struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Tri-County RVT couldn't quite finish off Diman RVT in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 and fell 2-0. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
