Volleyball Recap: St. Henry Extends Winning Streak to Six

St. Henry came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the St. John's Bluejays. The Redskins have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bluejays, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-19, 25-10.

St. Henry had a senior duo take command as Morgan Baumer had nine digs and one assist and Alexis Buschur had four aces and three digs. Karlee Baumer also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

St. Henry was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in nine consecutive matchups.

St. Henry's record is now 12-3. As for St. John's, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

St. Henry wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Marion Local on the 25th. As for St. John's, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Versailles on the 25th.
