Baseball Recap: Sunrise Christian Academy Buffaloes vs. St. Mary's Academy Crusaders
Sunrise Christian Academy lost a close one when they played on Thursday but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on Friday was a bit more commanding. They lost 14-4 to the St. Mary's Academy Crusaders. Sunrise Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as St. Mary's Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April.
Henry Hannaford made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with a triple and a run. Ethan Garraway was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Sunrise Christian Academy now has a losing record at 5-6-1. As for St. Mary's Academy, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.
Sunrise Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Mary's Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Holton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
