            Football Recap: Weaver Beavers vs. Morgan/Old Saybrook/Westbrook        
        
		
        
        
            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Cromwell/Portland, Weaver was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. They claimed a resounding  42-0 victory over Morgan/Old Saybrook/Westbrook. The  matchup marked the Beavers' most dominant  win of the  season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Weaver to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Kadain Claflin-Coy, who threw for 345 yards and five  touchdowns while completing 84.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 30 yards.  Jaiden Booth did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 120 receiving yards.
 Weaver didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Jyiere Perry and  Booth.
Weaver now  has a winning record of 3-2. As for Morgan/Old Saybrook/Westbrook,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-4.
 Looking ahead, Weaver will face off against Valley Regional/Old Lyme at 12:00  p.m.  on November 1. As for Morgan/Old Saybrook/Westbrook, they will have a little extra prep time after the  defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Coginchaug Regional/East Hampton/Hale Ray at 6:30  p.m.  on November 7.
