Soccer Game Preview: Cambridge vs. Lake Mills

The Cambridge Bluejays will venture away from home to face off against the Lake Mills L-Cats at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Cambridge will head out to face Lake Mills after giving up their first home loss of the season on Tuesday. The Bluejays fell just short of Belleville by a score of 2-1. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Cambridge couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lake Mills' offense. They fell just short of Wisconsin Heights by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday.

Cambridge's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1-1 and their overall record down to 8-4-1. As for Lake Mills, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5-2.

Cambridge couldn't quite get it done against Lake Mills when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Bluejays avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
