Warhill and York are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2016, but likely not for long. The Lions are taking a road trip to take on the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Warhill's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Warhill is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They fell just short of Lafayette by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between York and New Kent, and New Kent kept the tradition alive. The Falcons lost 3-0 to the Trojans on Wednesday.

York's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Warhill, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-1.

Warhill beat York 3-1 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
