Baseball Recap: Lyman Comes Up Short

Lyman lost against East River back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Greyhounds fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 2-1.

Lyman has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season. As for East River, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.

Lyman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East River, they will square off against Oviedo at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
