Softball Recap: Roosevelt Bears vs. Belleville Tigers        
        
		
            
 The matchup between Roosevelt and Belleville  on Wednesday hardly resembled the  2-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Roosevelt Bears narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past the Belleville Tigers  11-9. Winning may never get old, but Roosevelt sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
  Ellie Isenegger made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit (and not a single walk). Isenegger has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive pitching appearances. Isenegger was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Emma Jordan, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-4.  Summer Gregoria was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Roosevelt pushed their record up to 16-10 with that  victory, which was their seventh straight  on the road. As for Belleville, they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-10.
 Roosevelt will be playing in front of their home fans against Allen Park at 12:00  p.m.  on June 1st. As for Belleville, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Riverview at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
