Volleyball Recap: Sumter County Panthers vs. Columbus Blue Devils

It was a good run, but Sumter County unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Columbus Blue Devils. The Panthers have struggled against the Blue Devils recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Sumter County's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6. As for Columbus, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-17.

After both having extra time off, Sumter County and Carver will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbus, they are on the road again on Thursday to play Central at 6:00 p.m.
