Soccer Recap: Carroll Takes a Loss

After flying high against Headland last Monday, Carroll came back down to earth. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Lincoln Golden Bears on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Carroll can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 146th, while Lincoln are ranked 49th).

Carroll's goal came courtesy of Vraj Prajapati, who's now up to 13 this season.

Carroll has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7-4 record this season. As for Lincoln, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-1-2.

Carroll has already played their next matchup (against Andalusia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lincoln, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-0 win against Holt on the 10th.
