Basketball Recap: DC International Falls Short of School Without Walls in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact DC International can now relate to. The match between the DC International Dragons and the School Without Walls Penguins didn't end well, with the DC International Dragons falling 43-24. The Dragons just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

School Without Walls' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ellie Olesh, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Olesh has been hot, having also posted two or more blocks the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Nadia Kallmer, who posted 11 points along with five boards and five steals.

DC International's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for School Without Walls, their win bumped their record up to 16-5.

DC International does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for School Without Walls, they have already played their next contest, a 49-29 victory against Ballou on the 25th.
